ring shape of a board

Hi,

I want to create a board with ring shape (see attachment, size: 5cmX5cm).
How the shape will be cut?
1) on the outside and inside
2) only outside and I'll need to cut the inside
3) it will not be cut at all (5cmX5cm square)
