Max current for each RGB channel

I'm confused by the specification table at http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/Grove_- ... troduction My case is that we're going to connect three different color LED strips onto the Grove Driver. Each LED strip requires up to 17V and 1.8A (V ranges from 12V to 17V; A ranges from 1.2A to 1.8A). What is the maximum current for each RGB channel if the power adapter is 12V/5A? Does the max current listed in the specification table present the current for each channel or for three channels?! Any recommended high power LED Drivers? Thanks for your help.
