Linkit in Virtual Machine

I run Windows 8.1 in VitualBox on my OSX host.

It detects the LinkIt COMs when I insert the USB Cable.

I then install the drivers (I did turn off driver signature enforcement).

But: nothing happens. Like the drivers werent installed.

The Device Manager still shows two unknown COM (Unknown Devices).
