Hercule robotic platform motors and encoders details

Hi all,

I need more details on the motors and encoders of the Hercules robotic platform motors (reference 25GA-370 didn't really help me in Google). Namely:

- gear ratio
- ticks per rev of the encoders

Is it possible to tell the direction of the motors with these Hall effect encoders? I need this info as without it, my platform is basically useless.
